Core loop<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

In TFoo you can easily rank a list of things (they might be product features, new markets, movies, new product ideas etc) on different criterias, like most requested, best, most expensive etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workflow is the same no matter what, you create a new board, add any number of stories to it, then you add a criteria to rank them on. This is what forms a Set<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Story<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A story is something that can be compared against something else.
For example it could be \u201cSign-up form for newsletter\u201d, \u201cSearch\u201d, and \u201cContact form\u201d if you were trying to prioritize new features on a website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or it could be “Vacuum cleaning robots\u201d, \u201cMicrophones\u201d, and \u201cElectric bicycles\u201d if you were a company that wanted to introduce a new product line and wanted to decide which one to go for.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Set<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A set is a collection of related stories with a criteria they should be ranked on. So the same group of stories can be part of multiple sets, each with their own criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s say we have a group of stories that all are new features we could add to an app.
We could then create one set with the criteria \u201cMost requested by users\u201d and one with the criteria \u201cEasiest to implement\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A board is a collection of sets that contain the same stories.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Compare<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you have a PRO account you can compare two different sets of the same board to each other. They will be plotted on a grid with the criteria for each of the two boards plotted on either the X or Y axis. This makes it very easy to identify stories that rank high or low on both axis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use case example<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Say that you want to do some quick fixes for your app, you run a TFoo session where people in you organisation can vote on which sotires are easiest to implement, and then you use your customer insights to rank on most requested by users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a comparison grid you will instantly see which features are high in demand and easy to implement. You can also see which are high in demand but hard to implement and think of new, simpler, ways to meet the user needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Running a voting session<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you have created a board, you are in charge of the voting session and you can toggle
between them at will. A session can have four different statuses:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Not started <\/strong>– No votes have been cast<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Start <\/strong>– The voting is open <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Pause <\/strong>– This will pause the vote screen, useful if you need to add some information <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Finish <\/strong>– No new users may vote<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Screens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are two views or \u201cScreens\u201d for each set<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vote screen<\/strong> – This is the link you share to people that should be voting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
